Job summary

This full-time role requires the ability to perform heavy physical labor, follow written and oral instructions, and obtain a Class A CDL within six months of training. Prior experience is helpful; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, light and occasionally medium equipment for road repair and maintenance.
• Haul sand, gravel, asphalt mix, and other materials as needed.
• Transport equipment, signs, and posts; perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Mow ditches, trim trees, flag traffic, and perform related tasks on county roads.
• Maintain records of vehicle use and hours worked; may work on bridges and culverts.
