Responsibilities

• Proving Ground maintenance and landscaping including irrigation, planting, and trimming.
• Perform scheduled track maintenance on paved and dirt tracks.
• Operate light power equipment and provide labour support for projects.
• Safely operate equipment and work around heavy machinery.
• Maintain accurate work orders and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Support events and testing by setting up and operating test venues.

They are looking for an Equipment Operator - Grounds Maintenance to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be located in California City, CA, USA.

Job Description:

• Proving Ground maintenance
• Landscaping: maintain irrigation, planting, trimming, etc.
• Perform scheduled track maintenance on both paved and dirt tracks
• Equipment operation and labour support for construction/maintenance projects
• Ability to safely operate light power equipment such as track blower, post hole digger, jack hammer, etc. Basic equipment operation skills
• Ability and knowledge to work safely with and around heavy equipment
• Work autonomously with minimal direction
• Abides by and acknowledges all safety practices in keeping with high safety standards
• Support CPG events and testing - Setup, clean, and operate test venues

Educational Requirements:

• High school Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in maintenance and facility operations
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with hand tools and safe use
• Clean driving record and ability to drive an automatic vehicle
• Must be available to work any shift
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting (Up to 50 pounds) for approximately 8 hours on a daily basis
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in heavy equipment operations

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to use the necessary tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to track work and properly fill out work orders
• Ability to work with dynamic responsibility changes
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility in assignments
