Job summary

Contechs is seeking an Equipment Operator - Grounds Maintenance in California City, CA. The role focuses on Proving Ground maintenance, track upkeep, and assisting in construction/maintenance projects while safely operating track blowers, diggers, and jack hammers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance and heavy equipment operation, a clean driving record, and flexibility to work any shift, with the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds daily.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in maintenance and facility operations.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in heavy equipment operations.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive an automatic vehicle.
• Must be available to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Proving Ground maintenance.
• Perform scheduled track maintenance on both paved and dirt tracks.
• Equipment operation and labour support for construction/maintenance projects.
• Ability to safely operate light power equipment such as track blower, post hole digger, jack hammer, etc.
• Ability and knowledge to work safely with and around heavy equipment.
• Work autonomously with minimal direction.
• Abides by and acknowledges all safety practices in keeping with high safety standards.
• Support CPG events and testing - Setup, clean, and operate test venues.
