Job summary

Reworld Waste in Huntsville, AL seeks an entry-level operator to safely process Profiled Waste and Regulated Medical Waste. The role reports to the Supplemental Waste Program Manager and requires shift work, including weekends, overtime, and call-ins as needed.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, perform inspections, monitor tipping floor activity, record data, and support plant operations and maintenance with a focus on safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to operate equipment listed in the role.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Respirator fit tested required.
• Demonstrate safety-first mindset and Reworld values.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, front-end-loaders, street sweeper, and other equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections and monitor tipping floor activity.
• Take action to prevent damage or injury and report malfunctions.
• Record data and report issues; assist in painting, cleanup and groundskeeping.
• Support plant operations and maintenance; work shifts including weekends and overtime.
