Job summary

Reworld Huntsville, AL seeks a dedicated individual to safely and efficiently process Profiled Waste and Regulated Medical Waste. This is shift work and may require you to work various shifts including weekends, overtime, and call ins, as needed.

Under the direction of the Supplemental Waste Program Manager, you will operate equipment, monitor tipping floor and maintain environmental and safety practices. This entry level role offers growth into Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS Diploma/GED.
• Must possess good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other listed equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Respirator fit tested and able to work with a respirator.
• Commitment to safe and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, front-end-loaders, street sweeper, automated feed system, and other equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections.
• Monitor vehicle activity on the tipping floor.
• Take appropriate action to prevent equipment damage or personal injury.
• Record data and report equipment malfunctions.
• Perform painting, cleanup work and various other tasks.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds and housekeeping of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with established environmental and safety practices.
• Assist plant operations and maintenance.
• This is an entry level position that provides the opportunity to advance into Plant Operations.
