Reworld Waste in Bristol, CT is seeking a Safety-conscious Utility Operator to support our industrial disposal process. You will perform essential operating tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring equipment is charged, refuse is properly managed, and tipping floor operations run smoothly.

The role requires basic high school education and the ability to work rotating shifts, with opportunities to operate front-end loaders and assist with loading and disposal of waste materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Must be able to operate and supervise industrial equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Ensure equipment is charged and fuel levels are maintained for operation.
• Mix and level refuse in the industrial pit.
• Load ash using industrial equipment.
• Supervise delivery trucks and manage tipping floor operations.
• Operate front end loaders to move refuse and materials.
• Inspect delivered refuse and determine disposal method.
• Monitor inbound/outbound truck traffic.
• Perform additional duties to maintain safe facility operations.
