Job summary

Martin Marietta's Dubois Quarry in Nebraska is seeking energized individuals to operate a variety of mining equipment on the day shift, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The role focuses on operating haul trucks, loaders, scalers, and water trucks to support mining operations.

Responsibilities include performing daily vehicle inspections, observing signals, and assisting with plant maintenance and other mining duties as required. A valid US driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.
• Valid US Driver's License

Job description

Martin Marietta is currently looking for energized individuals to join our team at Dubois Quarry, NE. This position would be responsible for operating a variety of mining equipment, including scalers, haul trucks, loaders and water trucks. This is a day shift position with the hours of operations from 7:00am-5:00 pm.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating a variety of off road haul trucks and other equipment utilized in mining which could include scalers, loaders, skid loaders, etc.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area as assigned
• Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment
• Assist on plant maintenance and repairs as needed
• Other mining related duties as required

Minimum Education and Experience

High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities

Bi-Lingual is a plus

Valid US Driver's License
