Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking energized individuals for Dubois Quarry, NE to operate a range of mining equipment, including scalers, haul trucks, loaders and water trucks. The role is a day shift with hours from 7:00am to 5:00pm, requiring daily inspections and attention to safety signals.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED, and one year of similar experience. A valid US driver’s license is required; bilingual applicants are a plus as the team serves diverse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of off-road haul trucks and other mining equipment.
• Perform daily vehicle and work area inspections as assigned.
• Observe visual and auditory signals during operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment; clean as needed.
• Assist with plant maintenance and repairs as required.
• Handle other mining-related duties as needed.

is currently looking for energized individuals to join our team at Dubois Quarry, NE. This position would be responsible for operating a variety of mining equipment, including scalers, haul trucks, loaders and water trucks. This is a day shift position with the hours of operations from 7:00am-5:00 pm

• Responsible for operating a variety of off road haultrucks and other equipment utilized in mining which could include scalers, loaders, skid loaders, etc.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area as assigned
• Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment
• Assist on plant maintenance and repairs as needed
• Other mining related duties as required

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities
• Bi-Lingual is a plus
• Valid US Driver’s License
