Job summary

The role focuses on safe operation of trucks and heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with traffic control and right-of-way tasks as part of a larger municipal team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL permit or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Flagger Training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Operates trucks and equipment for street reconstruction and related maintenance.
• Hauls materials and assists with road base, asphalt, and drainage tasks.
• Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Assists with traffic control, signs, and barricades as needed.
• Supports multiple crews including Sign Maintenance and Right of Way work.
• Assists in emergency or on-call events as required.
