Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to support terminal operations in the United States. The role involves loading customer trucks with loaders and ensuring product specifications through quality control testing.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operate loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load customer trucks and support terminal operations.
  • Perform quality control testing and accurately document results to help ensure product specifications are met.
  • Manage material stockpiles, inventory movement, and housekeeping throughout the terminal.
  • Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, and report operational issues promptly.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety, productivity, and environmental standards.
What Are We Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregates, construction, industrial, or material handling environment.
  • Ability to perform quality control testing, maintain accurate records, and recognize potential product quality issues.
  • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, customers, and team members.
  • Dependable, self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
