Under the supervision of Streets Division Crew Supervisors, drives and operates various construction and maintenance equipment to support streets maintenance programs for the City of St. George. This role involves skilled operation of light and heavy equipment and minor routine maintenance.
Requires exerting over 100 pounds occasionally, climbing, balancing, and working in various weather conditions. May involve working unconventional hours, on-call shifts, and responding within 15 minutes during emergencies.
High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of experience in equipment operation and maintenance; valid driver’s license; understanding of motor vehicle laws.
