Stevens Towing Company, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Marine Equipment Operator with 5 or more years of experience in a shipyard environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in drydocking tugs, barges, and other marine vessels. This full-time position is located in Yonges Island, SC, and offers a competitive salary.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing pre-use inspections of all equipment operated and conducting preventative maintenance such as adding fuel, oil, lubricants, and replacing cables, filters, hoses, belts, and fuses.
2. Setting up the marine railway and performing other duties as required.
3. Working all shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
4. Participating in random drug screens as a condition of employment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of shipyard experience.
• Valid TWIC, driver's license, and passport.
• Knowledge of safety rules and proper safety equipment usage.
• Ability to comply with all safety and pollution prevention regulations.
