Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in the Midwest seeks a full-time Equipment Operator to support operations in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota.

You will inspect, drive, and operate trucks and equipment, maintain logs, and ensure safety compliance while supporting diverse field projects. This role may involve travel and requires a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one, plus the ability to read, write, spell and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience driving and operating trucks and motorized/electrical equipment.
• Class A CDL or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to read/write/spell/compute basic math.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, drives and operates trucks and equipment.
• Maintains truck and equipment logs according to regulations.
• Operates equipment with movable shovel to excavate or move dirt, rock, sand and other materials.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

• Successfully pass DOT physicals/drug tests as required


• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check.
