Job summary

Onin Staffing is seeking a Large Equipment Operator in Nashville to safely operate heavy-capacity forklifts and material handling equipment, moving concrete products and raw materials across the production facility and yard. You will support production schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely shipments while upholding strict safety standards in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Basic computer or inventory tracking experience is preferred, with 2+ years of forklift experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial forklift or heavy equipment operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-capacity forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and transport concrete products and raw materials.
• Support production schedules and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure timely customer shipments and uphold strict safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Read load charts and shipping documentation to verify correct handling and routes.
• Maintain equipment care and safety practices; follow site policies.

The Large Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy-capacity industrial forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and transport concrete products and raw materials throughout the production facility and storage yard. This position plays a critical role in supporting production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely customer shipments, and upholding strict safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.
