The Impact You Can Have:

As an Equipment Operator at Ulta Beauty, you will ensure the safe transport of products within the distribution center, making it a model of productivity, efficiency, and reliability for the company. Your machinery includes standup forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks, and dock stockers, primarily operated via RF scanners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) with certification
• Perform daily equipment checks
• Follow safety guidelines, recognize hazards, maintain cleanliness, report incidents and hazards, and use safety equipment properly
• Report equipment faults, property damage, and safety hazards
• Pick, pack, restock, sort, and receive merchandise accurately
• Transport products to and from pallet racks and work with conveyors to build pallets
• Load and unload trucks efficiently
• Organize warehouse space effectively
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards
• Use scanners for work directions
• Handle materials safely, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs during shifts
• Work overtime as needed and communicate effectively within a team

Qualifications:

• Dependable, self-motivated individuals aged 18+
• Ability to complete training and certification in equipment operation
• Solid math skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred; experience/training may substitute
• Experience with RF scanners and basic computer skills preferred

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to loud noises, variable temperatures, dusty environments, and strong scents
• May work in high places, narrow aisles, or trailers
