Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an experienced industrial engineer to lead daily operational engineering activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.

You will analyze processes and production data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization, collaborating with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support capital projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and support daily operational engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance
  • Analyze processes, equipment, and production data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support project planning and execution, including upgrades, modifications, and capital improvements
  • Ensure engineering practices align with operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
