Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Plymouth Meeting, PA to support daily production at our aggregates facilities. You will operate heavy equipment and perform pre-operation inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.

Load and stockpile materials, follow all safety policies, and collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules. We offer union benefits, competitive wages, vacation, and a pension plan.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support daily production and site operations.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.
• Load, move, and stockpile materials while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and production schedules.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre- employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
