Job summary

SSA Marine in Columbus, MS is seeking a skilled operations teammate to safely handle cargo, support data accuracy, and participate in inventories.

You will work with staff to follow plans, monitor for discrepancies, adhere to safety procedures, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and experience operating powered industrial truck-type equipment are required.

• Able to operate large equipment and direct a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot operations.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Work environment:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts, days, evenings, and nights.


• Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures of hot and cold, extremely dusty conditions, and occasionally, conditions of high levels of noise.


• The ability to work in an environment that may be hazardous to persons unable to see and hear fast-moving equipment.


• The ability to drive 50%.


• The ability to operate various types of equipment.

Pay Range:

$18.00-22.00 per hour

The posted compensation range is based on the applicable geographic market for the position and may vary depending on factors such as related experience and skill set. Final compensation will be determined based on these items and other relevant factors.
