Job Description

Ecosouth Florida seeks a dedicated individual for the role of Equipment Operator in Bradenton, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely handling a loader similar to a Komatsu WA 200-8. This position requires the ability to efficiently load materials onto a tipper trailer or walking floor. Experience with backing large trailers is also preferred.

Compensation:

$20 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures while operating heavy equipment
• Ensure equipment stays in clean working order and report any issues to the supervisor
• Load materials into tipper trailers
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment at all times
• Collaborate effectively with other departments
• Move loaded and unloaded trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety standards
• Must pass drug screening and background check
