Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Must have completed twelfth grade and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and locate mechanical difficulties on city equipment; determine repairs.
• Repair and replace mechanical parts and tires as needed.
• Operate a variety of tools and machinery used in mechanical work.
• Maintain and update work, time and material records.
