The role requires 2 years of automotive diagnostics/repair experience, with substitutions allowed for related credentials. A Class A CDL must be obtained within 120 days of employment; state inspection licensing may be required. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years in automotive, medium/heavy truck, or construction equipment diagnostics and repair.
• Associate's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Certificates may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Check lighting and wiring mechanisms for proper operation.
• Enter repair data into fleet information management system.
• Order, pick up, deliver parts and operate equipment including heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on vehicles/equipment.
• Prepare vehicles by checking safety features.
• Repair and adjust steering assemblies.
