Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment across our locations. You will work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components, following safety protocols and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with some lifting and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school/training desired
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills; knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs on a variety of equipment
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and identify root causes to minimize downtime
• Work on multiple makes/models and collaborate with a safety-focused team
