Job summary

Prince Contracting is seeking an Equipment Manager to oversee all aspects of the project fleet, including purchase, rental, maintenance, dispatch, and billing for one or more districts. The role involves negotiating contracts and managing maintenance services to support corporate goals and national agreements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy equipment management, strong maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license, with EMS knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years Heavy Equipment Management experience.
• Mechanical maintenance and repairs experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License; EMS preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment regulations, licensing, environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sources services, materials, maintenance providers and heavy equipment for projects.
• Supervises and directs activities for heavy equipment and maintenance personnel.
• Negotiates contracts and maintenance services to support objectives and national agreements where possible.
• Manages equipment functions including maintenance scheduling and delivery to job sites.
• Arranges repairs and transportation of equipment as needed.
• Analyzes equipment needs and repair expenditures for approval.
• Monitors utilization and reports cost savings opportunities.
• Leads inventory procedures for yards at project sites.
