Job summary

Kindeva is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of production equipment and systems, ensuring adherence to SOPs and timely preventive maintenance. Hours are 6:30am–3:00pm with additional time as needed.

You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including gown qualification for APA entry. This role offers growth toward Senior Manufacturing Engineer roles in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a scientific, technical, manufacturing, business, engineering, or related field with 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Or 10+ years supervisory experience in pharmaceutical operations in lieu of a degree.
• Pharmaceutical/manufacturing experience in regulated environments; union leadership experience preferred.
• Must be able to be gown qualified for entry into the APA and maintain qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of facility equipment including HVAC and plant utilities; schedule and monitor Maintenance Mechanics and outside contractors.
• Identify and coordinate outside vendors and purchase parts/equipment to support production within budget approvals.
• Create or update departmental SOPs as processes change or improvements are needed.
• Investigate observations from customer, safety or quality audits and report corrective actions.
• Ensure Preventive Maintenance (PMS) and Predictive Maintenance (PdMs) are completed timely.
• Coordinate maintenance staff vacations and coverage; address personnel issues with Maintenance Manager and HR; train new mechanics and supervisors.
• Conduct regular department/shifts meetings to communicate updates and safety talks.
