Job summary

Kindeva is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our production facilities in a fast-paced environment. You will set up and maintain production machinery, manage parts and spares, and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus technical certification or an associate’s degree and 1+ years of related experience. You will work from schematics and collaborate with Project Engineers, with emphasis on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree or technical school certification preferred.
• 1+ years related experience or extensive generalist experience.
• Experience in Electricity Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, HVAC and/or Control Systems.
• Willing to work in a sterile environment requiring aseptic gowning.
• Pass a Standard Timing Model Assessment for external applicants.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down and change over all production machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Keep up-to-date records on maintenance per SOPs, logbooks, and work orders.
• Manufacture spare parts and machine parts as required with minimal assistance.
• Troubleshoot production equipment including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Order spare or replacement parts as required.
• Maintain all production areas, buildings and grounds mechanically and aesthetically.
• Work from sketches, mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Train departmental colleagues to enhance cross-training and capability.
• Assist Project Engineers as directed.
• Observe safety practices on shop and production floors.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work area in a clean, organized manner.
• Prepare documentation and maintain equipment per GMP guidelines.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
