As the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our fleet stays maintained, compliant, and job‑ready while leading a team of equipment personnel.

  • Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of equipment staff
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair services (in‑house and external vendors)
  • Produce and maintain accurate service and maintenance reports
  • Track and log completed services in equipment management software
  • Manage inventory of filters, parts, and shop tooling
  • Identify equipment issues and assist in developing effective solutions
  • Update service intervals and filter data based on mechanic and oiler feedback
  • Prepare and submit monthly pickup deficiency and mileage reports
  • Organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Interview, hire, and develop equipment personnel
  • Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions when needed
  • Mentor and support team members to improve performance and meet company goals
  • Assist the Equipment Manager in achieving department and company objectives
  • Be available to work off‑hours or weekends as needed
What You’ll Bring to the Team

We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing equipment maintenance operations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or experience preferred)
  • Experience in heavy equipment maintenance, service coordination, or shop supervision
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and maintenance tracking software
  • Effective communication skills with field crews and management
  • Solid problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
Physical & Work Environment

This position combines office, shop, and field responsibilities in a fast‑paced construction environment.

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
  • Exposure to noise, dust, vibration, weather, and heavy equipment
  • Required use of PPE including hard hat, safety vest, gloves, eye and hearing protection
