Job summary

Santa Barbara Honda seeks an Equipment Service Associate at our Alabama Auto Plant to ensure equipment availability through technical expertise, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to support production targets.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards; supporting the production team to hit daily targets; completing planned maintenance using Maximo CMMS; and mentoring teammates to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in asset management or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.
• Experience with preventive maintenance activities.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Confirm equipment operates and meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support production to achieve daily targets.
• Complete preventive and planned maintenance per plan using Maximo CMMS.
• Support projects to improve department characteristics and performance.
• Understand equipment functionality for efficient recovery and repair.
