Job summary
ApplicantPool in Round Rock, TX is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to provide technical leadership in our photomask manufacturing facility. The role focuses on supporting the manufacturing site through engineering expertise and proactive maintenance.
You will learn our inspection toolset and work with repair and process engineering teams to maximize uptime and reliability. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to guide preventive maintenance and improvements.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or Physics required.
- Three+ years in semiconductor or electronics.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical writing skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Recommend modifications and upgrades of manufacturing equipment.
- Keep current on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability.
- Document and implement programs to increase uptime and address equipment problems.
- Provide technical support to repair and process engineering organization.
- Support or lead uptime improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
