Job summary

Toppan Photomasks Round Rock is seeking an Engineer to support photomask inspection systems. You will sustain daily processes, define PMs and tool needs, and qualify new tools while developing processes to optimize yield and cycle time.

You will collaborate with operations and development teams to ensure robust process integration and to continuously improve product quality. A strong background in semiconductor inspection and data-driven problem solving is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science field is preferred.
• 3+ years in Inspection Process or Equipment Engineering in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Semiconductor Inspection principles.
• Troubleshooting with root-cause analysis and corrective actions (8D).
• Experience in DOE, SPC, recipe management, OCAP; continuous improvement mindset.
• Lean 6-sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Defect reduction and yield improvement experience.
• Hands-on tool ownership including PM optimization, FMEA and FDC.
• Proficient data analysis using JMP/Excel; basic scripting (VBA, C++, Python, SQL).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective communication up to leadership.
