Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a physically capable technician to perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical functions, including design, test, and assembly of electronics and systems. You will troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and ensure safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities include working from schematics, performing testing, and supporting manufacturing with quality notifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical testing, design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly of electronics and systems.
• Troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Follow schematics and procedures to conduct routine testing and documentation of procedures.
