Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in credit underwriting in an equipment leasing company.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and other pertinent credit information and make credit decisions or recommendations.
• Strong writing and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Input and review credit applications and supporting documents from sales teams, dealers and brokers.
• Analyze credit history and financial statements.
• Submit credit recommendations to Credit Manager.
• Present approvals/declines to sales team and brokers.
• Prepare and process contracts, rewrites, refinances, and transfer of equities.
• Review lease and retail documents for funding completeness.
• Review and follow up on credit stipulations for compliance.
• Prepare and submit funding docs.
• Work in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
• Calculate retail and lease payments using SuperTrump, T-Value, or HP calculator.
• Interact with customers using excellent spoken and written English.
• Handle admin duties: photocopies, faxing, and email prep for sales.
• Understand basic state grant and loan programs.
• Coordinate with other departments and partners.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
