Native American Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist in Denver to prepare and review commercial loan documents, perform post-close reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role supports lenders and clients through accurate documentation and timely closings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on Commercial Loan documentation experience in a bank, credit union, or financial institution.
• Knowledge of construction loans and experience processing construction draws preferred.
• 3-5 years of extensive TruStage loan software system experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with banking systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes documents for new and renewal commercial loans, using internal software or coordinating with vendors; ensures complete closing package.
• Evaluates internal credit approvals and supporting documents to determine required loan documents and enforce compliance with policies and regulations.
• Documents all types of loans including complex government-guaranteed loans (SBA, USDA, HUD, BIA) and construction/participation loans.
• Ensures documents comply with bank policies, guarantor policies, and federal regulations (CRA, HMDA, OFAC, Flood, Patriot Act, Reg B/Z, appraisals, beneficial ownership).
• Coordinates closing by communicating with borrowers, lenders, title companies, attorneys; collects documentation and monitors financials for closing.
• Runs UCC, credit and D&B searches; reviews title commitments and settlement statements; resolves requirements and exceptions for closing.
• Disburses loans and wires; enters new loans into core system with high accuracy.
• Ensures collateral is perfected and filed correctly; scans and stores documents.
• Assists with payoff processing, loan maintenance requests, and post-close follow-up tasks.
• Prepares Adverse Actions and reviews Reg B compliance; performs post-close QA.
