Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minnesota is seeking a Payoff Analyst to support Equipment Finance customers by preparing payoff quotes, processing dispositions, and handling payoff transactions.

You will collaborate with sales, credit, documentation, and titling teams to ensure timely processing and superior service. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to build productive relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial services preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for customers and internal business partners.
• Generate and process payoff quotes and payoff transactions.
• Manage end-of-term lease activities, including equipment dispositions.
• Respond to customer requests, inquiries, and issue resolution promptly.
• Collaborate with sales, credit, documentation, insurance, titling, and other teams to support customer needs.
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and operational issues.
• Identify potential customer concerns and proactively resolve them.
• Maintain accurate records in department systems.
• Cross-sell or refer customers to additional bank products as appropriate.
• Develop expertise in assigned accounts, products, and Equipment Finance processes.
