Job summary

Trans Lease, Inc. is seeking a Credit Analyst III in Minnesota to independently evaluate complex equipment finance transactions and support customer relationships.

You will work closely with Sales to drive timely lending decisions and develop expertise in the commercial transportation finance industry. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in equipment finance or commercial credit, strong credit judgment, and the ability to mentor other analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Typically 4+ years of equipment finance, commercial credit, or specialty lending experience.
• Demonstrated ability to underwrite complex, higher-risk transactions.
• Strong credit judgment with ability to mentor other analysts.
• Approval authority up to $750,000, including policy exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite commercial credit applications using financial statements, tax returns, and credit data.
• Evaluate borrower strength, cash flow, collateral, and overall transaction risk.
• Provide clear, well-supported credit recommendations and decisions.
• Approve, condition, decline, restructure, or elevate transactions within authority.
• Support originations and manage customer relationships with Sales.
