Job summary

Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a tooling engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex equipment toolsets essential for high-volume production. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to keep equipment available and within quality targets.

You will partner with Process Engineers and shift teams to optimize PM frequencies, manage BOM/SAP lists, and contribute to defect reduction and yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting of pumps, abatement, chillers, and other toolsets.
• Experience with SPC, ETI, MAMs and TPM/CMMS processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot toolset hardware and software.
• Ensure tool availability and drive performance against quality metrics.
• Lead safety audits, training, and incident reduction initiatives.
• Document changes and maintain accurate tool documentation/reaction mechanisms.
• Collaborate with vendors and process engineers to improve yield and reduce downtime.
