You'll support Regional Construction & Mining operations and learn how to improve equipment availability while implementing preventive maintenance.

This internship runs May–August 2027 across the United States, with relocation as needed and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant engineering field.
• Available May–August for full-time summer work.
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
• Strong work ethic and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Handle materials and procurement tasks.
• Create and maintain tool/filter lists and docs.
• Inspect equipment and parts regularly.
• Manage logistics and communications.
• Plan, schedule and budget long/short term equipment needs.
• Prepare planning paperwork for critical lifts.
• Use reliability data to boost equipment availability.
• Communicate across all supervision levels.
• Support maintenance crew: parts, inventory, safety.
• Contribute to special projects as needed.
