Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN, is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern to support documentation and improvement projects for Equipment Maintenance. This role focuses on semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, Power BI, and collaborating with a highly technical team.

You will develop Power BI dashboards with WINSQL data, assist engineers to improve or create documentation, and gain hands-on knowledge of repairs and daily maintenance activities while driving continuous

• Students working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or other semiconductor/manufacturing related fields.
• Technical writing skills.
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
• Strong attention to detail including analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Working with Equipment Engineers to improve existing documentation or put new documentation in place.
• Gain firsthand knowledge of equipment repairs and improvements (daily maintenance activities, installs, CIP projects).
• Drive continuous improvement projects to improve equipment availability, reduce cost, and improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

About the Role

What We Offer :

• Salary : $25.50 - $32.20 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
• Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation : Includes 401(k) plan and paid time off.
