Job summary

Polar Semiconductor in Bloomington, MN invites a Technology Development Engineer Intern to join the Technology Development and Transfer group. You will report to the Lead Engineer and support new development efforts, performing device characterization and process evaluation.

The role emphasizes hands-on measurement, data analysis of wafer parameters, and documentation. Ideal candidates are pursuing EE or Physics degrees, with junior status or higher and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Students working toward a Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
  • Students in their Junior year or higher.
  • Coursework should include: Intro to Device Physics and/or Semiconductor Processing course.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technology Development Engineer Intern

About the Role

The Development Engineering Intern will report to the Lead Engineer in the Technology Development and Transfer group to support new development efforts.

  • Create process characterization documents

What We Offer :

Salary : $25.50 - $32.20 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.

Benefits & Other Eligible Compensation : Includes 401(k) plan and paid time off.
