Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer II to improve machine operation and efficiency for cylindrical batteries in Queen Creek, AZ. You will analyze OEE data, develop action plans, and support cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

The role requires a 3+ year engineering background in production, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts with PPE while maintaining 5S3R standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in engineering equipment in production/plant environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work 12-hour shifts with PPE.
• Able to follow safety, cleanroom and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze OEE and breakdown frequency for daily production.
• Create and implement action plans based on OEE data.
• Monitor OEE and Line of Balance after improvements.
• Document equipment operation, process, and training.
• Provide equipment support to cross-functional teams during production.
• Support installation and qualification of new equipment.
