Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in EE/ME/Materials/Physics or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with semiconductor or thin‑film deposition equipment.
  • Strong vacuum, gas delivery, and thermal process knowledge.
  • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at component level.
  • Experience with thin-film metrology and electrical characterization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain deposition toolsets to meet uptime and performance targets.
  • Monitor pressure, gas flow, temperature, and deposition rate; optimize system parameters.
  • Perform diagnostics, repair, and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
  • Support development and optimization of thin-film deposition processes.
  • Utilize metrology tools to characterize film thickness, uniformity, and morphology.
  • Collaborate with researchers to ensure tool performance aligns with process requirements.
  • Train users and maintain SOPs and maintenance documentation.
