Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to organize daily equipment dispatch for the branch in a safe, timely manner. Your role supports customers' operational needs and requires integrity and reliability.

You will schedule drivers, handle customer calls and orders, arrange emergency repairs, and assist the inside sales team while adhering to safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules knowledge.
• Safety-focused and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch.
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service.
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
• Assist Inside sales team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
