Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Central Service Dispatcher to coordinate the prompt receipt and delivery of equipment across Sunbelt stores and to customers. You will ensure timely dispatch of road mechanics and monitor schedules in alignment with DOT standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing logs, performing daily inspections, and collaborating with multiple locations to meet customer equipment needs while maintaining safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Education is required.
• Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations is preferred.
• Customer Service & Dispatch training is a plus.
• Two years of experience with construction/industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure timely dispatch of road mechanics to service equipment.
• Create and monitor road mechanic schedules.
• Create and monitor receipt and maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Review daily/weekly driver logs per DOT standards.
• Perform daily truck inspections.
• Collaborate with other stores to meet customer equipment needs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally to the satisfaction of the customer and Sunbelt Rentals.
• Report problems timely to the supervisor and follow up for resolution.
• Provide feedback to Regions/District PCs regarding equipment delivery/receipt.
