The Central Dispatch Coordinator role delivers and picks up rental equipment, coordinating with Drivers, Rental Coordinators, Rental Managers, and other departments to ensure the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in equipment rental, trucking, or sales roles.
• Technical or military training or equivalent practical on-the-job training preferred.
• Broad knowledge of trucking and transportation of heavy equipment.
• Proficient in computer applications and software.
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and takes requests for transportation and rental needs.
• Coordinates timely delivery of equipment to the customer location.
• Handles multiple phone calls and requests while providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintains on-time deliveries (90%+)/pickups within 2 days.
• Directs proper utilization of trucks and transportation equipment.
• Processes and approves vendor invoices weekly.
