Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Beckley team. You will be the face of our exceptional service, assisting customers with rentals, equipment, and related products. You will use U-Scan tech to manage inventory, assist with moving trucks, and ensure safety and readiness of equipment.

The role includes on-the-job training, with opportunities to advance and participate in ongoing education. Strong customer service skills and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers on offerings.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and drive a forklift (certifications offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
