Job summary

U-Haul seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, assisting customers with rentals and equipment, and using U-Scan technology to manage inventory. The role includes inspecting equipment, loading and hooking trucks, and educating customers about our products and services.

Responsibilities cover invoicing, accepting returns, installing hitches, and upholding U-Haul University training, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
