Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers at U-Haul centers with products and services. You will manage rentals using U-Scan technology, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment on the lot with attention to fluids and safety.

On-the-job education is provided, with hiring bonuses and opportunities to advance. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering excellent service and helping customers on their journeys.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
