Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, inspect and prepare equipment, and use mobile tech to dispatch rentals.

The role emphasizes safety, communication, and hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment. We offer interviews with pay, a $100 hiring bonus, a $300 cash bonus after certification steps, and benefits like health insurance, paid holidays, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and use U-Haul technology to dispatch and manage rentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hookup U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane and forklift certification offered on employment.
• Engage in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
