Job summary

Quanta Services seeks an Equipment Coordinator in Prairieville, LA to join its Equipment Acquisition team. This full-time, permanent role focuses on identifying equipment needs, tracking the company-owned fleet, sourcing rentals, and maintaining maintenance records to keep projects moving smoothly.

You will work closely with project managers and rely on strong organizational and communication skills to ensure accurate equipment data and timely maintenance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of equipment and fleet.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with project managers and clarify what each job needs.
• Ability to track equipment, locate rentals, and keep maintenance records accurate and organized.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel is a plus; experience with Tenna is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers to understand equipment needs for upcoming and active jobs.
• Track the location, status, and assignment of company-owned equipment across projects.
• Locate and source rental equipment when job needs exceed available fleet.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for all equipment and follow up on service due/overdue.
• Keep equipment data current and report on fleet availability and utilization as requested.

About this Role

R.R. Cassidy, a growing heavy construction company and part of Quanta Services, is seeking a self-motivated Equipment Coordinator to join our Equipment Acquisition department. This full-time, permanent position is based in Prairieville, LA, and is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work directly with project managers to identify equipment needs, track our company-owned fleet, source rental equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records to help keep projects moving forward.
