Job summary

Antillean Marine Shipping Corp is seeking an Equipment Control Manager to oversee the fleet of containers, chassis, and assets. You will apply Six Sigma principles to improve utilization, reduce losses, and maintain accurate inventory across terminals and out-port locations.

You will forecast needs, resolve discrepancies, and work with Operations, Finance, and Logistics to ensure equipment is available to support vessels and cargo operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in equipment control, logistics, shipping or terminal operations preferred.
• Experience supervising employees and managing operational processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of all company-owned and leased equipment.
• Monitor equipment inventory levels at terminals, yards, and out-port locations.
• Track equipment movements and ensure efficient usage.
• Forecast equipment needs and coordinate repositioning to meet demand.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure availability.
