Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate in Perrysburg, OH to support branch operations by assisting technicians, sales staff, and customers. The role emphasizes safety, equipment inspection, and careful handling of rental gear.

You will load, unload, and prepare equipment for rental, demonstrate equipment to customers, and may drive a delivery truck to handle pickups and drop-offs. This is a hands-on position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Diligent attention to safety in all tasks.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery truck for pickup/drop-off.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
